Bellosguardo: The Lives of Anna & Huguette Clark is her debut historical novel. It is available on Amazon and various digital sites and libraries.
The novel centers on the life of Huguette Clark, on the right in white. Her father, W.A. Clark, in the middle, and her beloved sister Andrée, on the left also figure largely in Huguette’s young life. This photograph–staged by W.A. for good press–was taken about the summer of 1919 in the public gardens he created for Butte.

Beautiful Anna La Chappelle and Senator W.A. Clark as they appeared in newspaper photographs of 1904 when their marriage was very belatedly announced in the United States. Andrée was a toddler in Paris and the fifth heir to the massive Clark fortune. No matter which way it was dissected, it was a scandal to Edwardian society and a massive shock to Clark’s four adult children. Huguette would be born just two years later…
